Now Henry scrapes by in obscurity as a Past Lives Investigator. By day, he locates the long-dead for loved ones eager to reNew them to living clones. By night, he haunts the Death Clubs and the few bars that still serve salvaged liquor. It’s a numbing, empty life and Henry plans to live it forever.
But a clone scam gone wrong forces him to take the case of a beautiful murder victim desperate to find her 7-year-old daughter. With authorities closing in, Henry must decide whether or not to reNew a kind of criminal not seen in centuries: the serial killer who murdered his client and maybe her daughter, too.”
